Through innovative and sometimes novel manufacturing techniques, metal strips are transformed into finished implantable housing components.

By using different manufacturing and tooling techniques, we are able to produce unique cases out of materials such as Titanium (Grade 1, 2, 6Al/4V), Stainless Steel and Aluminum.

Heraeus Medical Components has state of the art equipment which allows precise control over manufacturing processes. A highly skilled staff of tool and die makers ensures design and manufacturing of all critical tooling.

Heraeus developed a proprietary manufacturing process to create a lip form (integrated weld ring) on a case half. Benefits include lead-in control, positive stop, closing force control and protection from weld laser energy. This superior process facilitates ease of assembly and has reduced assembly time and costs experienced by many of our customers.
